The Dow Jones Index gained 322 points or 0.66 percent on Wednesday to close at 48823 points.

Gains were led by Amazon (3.84%), Cisco Systems (2.39%) and IBM (1.74%).

Biggest losers were Coca-Cola (-1.59%), Salesforce (-1.56%) and Chevron (-1.42%).
