The Dow Jones Index decreased -437 points or 0.89 percent on Tuesday to close at 48468 points.

The decline was led by Caterpillar (-3.98%), Nike (-2.69%) and Boeing (-2.52%).

On the upside, the strongest performers were IBM (2.59%), Verizon (1.74%) and Salesforce (1.57%).
