The Dow Jones Index decreased 197 points or 0.40 percent on Thursday to close at 49293 points.

The decline was led by Salesforce (-8.66%), IBM (-7.83%) and American Express (-4.33%).

On the upside, the strongest performers were Caterpillar (3.33%), Verizon (2.74%) and Coca-Cola (2.25%).

The Dow Jones Index rose 305 points or 0.62 percent on Wednesday to close at 49455 points. Leading the gains are Boeing (5.51%), Apple (2.62%) and UnitedHealth (2.20%). Top losers were 3M (-1.81%), IBM (-1.53%) and Nike (-1.53%).
