The Dow Jones Index Closes 1.05% Higher

The Dow Jones Index gained 555 points or 1.05 percent on Friday to close at 53315 points. Gains were led by Goldman Sachs (3.94%), Merck (2.27%) and Salesforce (1.91%).

The Dow Jones Index is picking up 299 points or 0.57 percent on Friday. Gains are led by Goldman Sachs (1.69%), UnitedHealth (1.48%) and American Express (1.46%). Biggest losers are Amazon (-1.01%), Apple (-0.90%) and Boeing (-0.53%).

The Dow Jones Index decreased 673 points or 1.26 percent on Thursday to close at 52790 points. The decline was led by Walmart (-9.03%), Boeing (-3.09%) and Home Depot (-2.86%).
