The Dow Jones Index Closes 1.04% Lower

The Dow Jones Index decreased 545 points or 1.04 percent on Thursday to close at 51673 points. The decline was led by Alphabet (-6.93%), Amazon (-4.51%) and Salesforce (-3.64%).

The Dow Jones Index is falling 349 points. Losses were driven by Alphabet (-5.92%), Amazon (-3.11%) and IBM (-2.90%). Biggest rises came from Chevron (1.77%), Merck (1.33%) and Travelers Companies (1.11%).

The Dow Jones Index rose 25 points or 0.05 percent on Wednesday to close at 52250 points. Leading the gains are Nvidia (2.39%), J&J (2.04%) and Boeing (1.97%). Top losers were Salesforce (-4.02%), IBM (-2.15%) and Microsoft (-1.78%).
