Losses were led by Caterpillar (-3.91%), Goldman Sachs (-3.71%) and Cisco Systems (-3.13%).

Offsetting the fall, top gainers were Salesforce (3.80%), IBM (2.38%) and Microsoft (2.34%).

The Dow Jones Index Closes 0.09% Higher
The Dow Jones Index went up by 49 points or 0.09 percent on Thursday to close at 51898 points. The rise was led by Caterpillar (6.09%), Merck (4.03%) and UnitedHealth (2.42%). On the downside, the weakerst performers were Apple (-6.41%), Microsoft (-3.46%) and McDonalds (-3.41%).

The Dow Jones Index is up by 314 points or 0.61 percent on Thursday. Top gainers are Caterpillar (4.42%), Honeywell International (2.69%) and Sherwin-Williams (1.68%). Biggest losses came from Apple (-3.78%), Amazon (-2.81%) and McDonalds (-2.31%).
