The Dow Jones Index Closes 0.70% Higher

The Dow Jones Index gained 354 points or 0.70 percent on Friday to close at 51202 points. Gains were led by Goldman Sachs (2.57%), Verizon (2.49%) and JPMorgan (2.25%). Biggest losers were Nike (-2.24%), Apple (-1.52%) and Merck (-1.42%).

The Dow Jones Index is gaining 203 points or 0.40 percent on Friday. Leading the gains are Sherwin-Williams (1.86%), Goldman Sachs (1.81%) and Caterpillar (1.31%). Top losers are Salesforce (-2.35%), Travelers Companies (-1.98%) and IBM (-1.96%).

The Dow Jones Index went up by 923 points or 1.85 percent on Thursday to close at 50841 points. The rise was led by Honeywell International (6.43%), Boeing (5.79%) and Amgen (4.91%).
