Losses were driven by Chevron (-2.62%), Salesforce (-2.54%) and Caterpillar (-2.12%).

Biggest rises came from Travelers Companies (1.76%), Visa (1.50%) and Apple (1.04%).

The Dow Jones Index went up by 155 points or 0.31 percent on Wednesday to close at 49688 points. The rise was led by Goldman Sachs (1.95%), Cisco Systems (1.85%) and Amazon (1.81%). On the downside, the weakerst performers were 3M (-2.05%), Boeing (-2.00%) and Verizon (-1.88%).
