The Dow Jones Index decreased -289 points or 0.61 percent on Wednesday to close at 47417 points.

The decline was led by Sherwin-Williams (-2.38%), P&G (-1.79%) and Visa (-1.74%).

On the upside, the strongest performers were Chevron (2.91%), UnitedHealth (1.03%) and American Express (0.92%).
