US equity futures were slightly higher on Friday as AI infrastructure stocks rebounded and Treasury yields maintained yesterday's pullback.

Contracts for the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq 100 gained 0.5% and 1%, respectively, approaching record highs from earlier in the week.

Chipmakers rallied as markets looked past speculative risks, shaking off concerns over a report that OpenAI's revenue could fall short of earlier estimates.

Broadcom, Micron, Marvell, AMD, and Lam Research each climbed more than 2% in premarket trading.

On the software side, Amazon, Alphabet, and Meta gained around 1% each.

The sector drew further support as SoftBank sought to raise $100 billion from Gulf investors for additional AI ventures.

Meanwhile, traditional sectors enjoyed respite as long-term yields pulled back from multi-decade peaks.

US President Donald Trump signaled that the US would not strike Iran before the midterm elections next month, cooling energy prices and inflation expectations.

US Futures Rise on OpenAI Reports
US stock futures rebounded on Friday following reports that OpenAI expects annualized revenue to reach or exceed $70 billion by year-end, easing concerns sparked by earlier reports that revenue was $20 billion below previously indicated levels. On Thursday, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite declined 0.47% and 1.25%, respectively, marking their second consecutive session of losses, while the Dow edged up 0.1%.
