US private employers added an average of 19,750 jobs per week in the four weeks ending June 27, 2026, according to the ADP Research Institute, a slight decline from the previous period’s 21,000 weekly gain.

This marks the third consecutive week of slowing job growth, consistent with ADP’s June report showing private businesses added 98,000 jobs, the lowest in three months and below forecasts of 113,000.

This marks the fourth straight week of slowing job growth. Yet, ADP’s May report released earlier this month revealed private businesses added a net 122,000 jobs, the largest increase since January 2025.
