US stock indices rose on Tuesday with support from the heavyweight tech sector as the surge in bond yields paused and softened pressure on the sector's credit outlook.
The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq 100 rose 1% each to their record highs, while the Dow gained a softer 0.6%.
Both AI infrastructure and hyperscaler stocks were firmly higher as fresh deals in the sector continued to spur speculative demand for the technology.
OpenAI was in talks for a $30 billion round of financing with UAE funds and Alphabet inched higher ahead of an agreement to acquire nuclear energy capacity from Constellation Energy, which rose 15%.
Meanwhile, AMD jumped 2% as CEO Lisa Su signaled strong chip demand in the coming years.
Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, and CrowdStrike also jumped around 4%.
