US Futures Stable Near Records

Futures tracking US equity indices were muted on Monday, holding the rallies from last as markets awaited catalysts that may shape energy prices and global interest rates.
The S&P 500 and the Dow were flat at their records, while the Nasdaq 100 was also stable.
Rate futures show that a slight majority of the market swung to price a rate hold by the Federal Reserve next month.
Nonfarm payrolls unexpectedly declined in July to challenge the view of a robust labor market, which was commonly cited by hawkish FOMC members following multiple dissents in the central bank's last meeting.
Meanwhile, fuel costs remained below recent peaks despite risks of prolonged supply setbacks of oil from the Persian Gulf.
Tech giants were mostly higher premarket after a group of brokers signaled strong demand for cloud services, with Meta, Amazon, and SpaceX in the green.
On the other hand, Intel fell over 3% premarket as it will be offering $15 billion in stock.
