US Futures Pull Back

Futures tracking US equity indices fell on Wednesday, trimming gains from the previous session amid a deteriorating macroeconomic backdrop and reversal to the AI rally.
Contracts for the S&P 500 and the Dow fell 0.3%, and renewed weakness for chip producers drove the Nasdaq to fall 1.5%.
Micron, Intel, and Sandisk sank nearly 4% premarket while Nvidia dropped 1.5%.
The sector remained volatile reflecting the market's indecisiveness on whether AI hyperscalers will continue to grow orders for hardware.
Insights on the trade are due after the bell with Alphabet's earnings results, the first update after the company's capital expenditure raise last quarter.
Tesla dropped 1.5% as it is also due to report, recently testing its lowest price since April.
Hostilities between US and Iran were magnified after Secretary of State Rubio downplayed hopes of diplomacy, raising energy inflation risks and lifting yields.
Financials fell, with Visa down 1%.
