US 1-Year Inflation Outlook Softens in June

The year-ahead inflation expectations in the United States, as compiled by the survey of the University of Michigan, eased to 4.6% in June 2026 from a nine-month high of 4.8% in May, preliminary estimates showed.
At the same time, the five-year inflation outlook fell to 3.4% in June from a seven-month high of 3.9% in the month before.
