US 1-Year Inflation Expectations Tick Up to 4.7%

The year-ahead inflation expectations in the United States, as compiled by the survey of the University of Michigan, edged up to 4.7% in November 2025 from 4.6% in October, preliminary figures showed.

Meanwhile, the five-year inflation outlook eased to 3.6% in November, from a four-month high of 3.9% in the prior month.

In the meantime, the five-year inflation outlook was kept at 3.2%, down from 3.3% in each of the previous two months.
