US House Prices Edge Up 0.1%: FHFA

US single-family home prices backed by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac increased 0.1% in January 2026, in line with market expectations after a 0.3% rise in December.
For the nine census divisions, home price changes ranged from -0.7% in the West South Central division to +1.7% in the East South Central division.
Year-over-year, house prices rose 1.6% in December.
The 12-month changes ranged from -0.8% in the West South Central division to +4.4% in the East North Central division.
