Futures tracking US equities were sharply higher on Thursday, erasing losses from the last two sessions as lower oil prices softened Treasury yields.
Contracts for the S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, and Dow were around 1% higher.
Oil and fuel prices trimmed their recent surge after Saudi Arabia signaled progress in restoring capacity through its East-West pipeline, dampening part of the recent surge in wholesale energy inflation.
Inflationary pressures drove the Fed to hike rates by 25bps yesterday, and projections by FOMC members pointed to a consensus that another rate hike is warranted this year.
Chip producers led the gains, extending the rebound after concerns over AI safety raised doubts over AI capital expenditure earlier this week.
Intel, AMD, Marvell, Seagate, and Lam Research added 3%.
In turn, credit sensitive banks and AI hyperscalers were also higher with Microsoft, Alphabet, and Amazon up nearly 2%.
