US stock futures moved higher on Friday as investors evaluated the latest batch of earnings from major technology companies.

In after-hours trading, Amazon soared more than 9% after reporting second-quarter revenue that exceeded forecasts, supported by robust growth in its cloud-computing business and reinforcing optimism over AI-related spending.

Meanwhile, Apple slid more than 6% after its services revenue missed expectations, although the company still beat third-quarter revenue estimates thanks to a 22% jump in iPhone sales.

Chipmakers also built on Thursday’s strong rally in extended trading, with Micron (3%), Sandisk (5.4%), AMD (3%), Intel (4.3%), and Nvidia (0.7%) all advancing.

During Thursday’s regular session, the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite climbed 2.78%, while the Dow and S&P 500 added 1.19% and 1.66%, respectively.

Technology, consumer discretionary, and industrial stocks paced the broader market rebound.
