The U.S.
House of Representatives has approved a spending bill with a vote of 222-209, Bloomberg News said.
The legislation now heads to President Donald Trump, who said he plans to sign it today.
With Trump’s approval, federal operations will fully resume, bringing an end to the nearly six-week shutdown, the longest in U.S.
history, that had stalled government services and funding.
The approval marks a major relief for federal employees and agencies affected by the closure.
