HNI Corporation is a provider of products and services for the office and home. The Company operates through two segments: workplace furnishings and residential building products. The workplace furnishings segment manufactures and markets a broad line of commercial and home office furniture, which includes panel-based and freestanding furniture systems, seating, storage, tables and architectural products. The workplace furnishings segment includes various brands, such as Allsteel, HON, Gunlocke, Lamex, HBF Textiles and maxon. The residential building products segment manufactures and markets a range of gas, wood, electric, and pellet fueled fireplaces, inserts, stoves, facings and accessories. The residential building products segment includes various brands, such as heatilator, Quadra-Fire, Heat & Glo, Harman, Vermont Castings and Majestic.
