US stocks were mixed on Friday as tech shares trimmed yesterday's rally, while broader sectors edged higher.
The S&P 500 was flat, balancing the composition of a 150-point gain for the Dow and a 0.7% loss for the Nasdaq 100.
Marvell sank nearly 8%, giving back some of its rally on the month despite beating earnings estimates and raising its outlook.
Chip producers and companies in AI infrastructure loosely maintained weekly gains after Nvidia noted that compute demand continues to surge through the next quarters.
Meanwhile, Fed Chairman Warsh was due to speak at the Jackson Hole Economic Symposium amid a backdrop of uncertainty on the economy and division in the FOMC.
Treasury yields held their surge since the start of quarter, with higher federal deficits and large corporate issuance combining with Warsh's signals that tighter financial conditions from secondary bond markets are natural and potentially act as a desired policy tool for the Fed.
