US Futures Rise to Records

US futures extended their strong momentum to record highs on Tuesday amid signs of a more favorable macroeconomic backdrop as key earnings will offer updates on the AI trade.
Contracts for the S&P 500 rose 0.4% to a new record and those for the Dow jumped 600 points to cross 53,800 for the first time, while the Nasdaq gained 0.8%.
Fuel and natural gas prices fell after Qatar signaled progress toward a short-term deal between the US and Iran, limiting inflationary risks and driving benchmark yields to hold their pullback.
Palantir soared over 15% after raising its forecasts on the back of strong commercial sales.
Meanwhile, industrial bellwether Caterpillar gained nearly 10% after beating its earnings estimates.
AI hypersaclers were mixed following their surge yesterday, which stretched the ongoing period of outperformance to AI infrastructure companies, reversing the trend from late in June.
AMD and SpaceX were due to report after the bell.
