The annual inflation in Mexico increased from 3.48 percent in November 2011 to 4.18 percent and decreased month-on-month from 1.08 percent in October 2012 to 0.68 percent.
The biggest increases were recorded in food and non-alcoholic beverages (9.47 percent), restaurants and hotels (5.96 percent) and transports (5.58). Alcoholic beverages and tobacco products rose 4.93 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels 1.97 percent, health 4.02 percent, clothing and footwear 2.55 percent. Communication year-on-year change was recorded at -16.89%.
