Year-on-year, both exports and imports increased 4 percent to SEK 87.8 billion and SEK 91.4 billion, respectively. Trade with countries outside the EU resulted in a surplus of SEK 6.2 billion, while the EU trade resulted in a deficit of SEK 9.8 billion.
Considering the first eight months of the year, exports went up 5 percent while imports increased 4 percent. The trade surplus widened to SEK 17.3 billion compared to SEK 12.0 billion in the same period of 2014.
