Mexico´s trade deficit in January of 2013 (-$2879 million) widened 10 percent in comparison with the same month a year earlier (-$274 million).
In January of 2013, Mexico´s exports were worth $27.231 billion of which $22.672 billion accounted for oil exports. In a year over year basis, exports narrowed 0.2 percent. Imports were worth $30.110 billion, an increase of 9.3 percent from January of 2012.
