Tech Shares Set to Drag Wall Street Lower

US stock futures moved lower on Wednesday, with S&P 500 futures down 0.9%, Nasdaq 100 futures falling 1.5%, and Dow Jones futures losing more than 400 points.
Tech stocks are set to extend their selloff amid renewed concerns over elevated valuations.
Investors are also focused on the upcoming CPI report for further insight into how the energy shock is affecting inflation and what it could mean for the Fed’s policy path, particularly whether rate hikes may be needed this year.
Meanwhile, tensions between Iran and the US continued to weigh on sentiment, with both sides carrying out strikes in the Gulf region while President Trump said Iran is taking too long to negotiate.
Oil prices remained volatile as markets assessed the potential impact of further escalation on already fragile peace talks.
In premarket trading, Nvidia (-1.9%), Broadcom (-2%), and Micron Technology (-3.5%) were lower.
Oracle also slipped (-2.9%) ahead of its earnings release after the closing bell.
