US equity futures were mixed following a long weekend as the uncertain outlook of the war in Iran and its impact on global energy markets drove investors to refrain from taking risk.
Contracts tracking the three main indices were relatively close to the flatline.

The war maintained supply shocks in crude and product commodities, with spot crude prices in Europe having reached 2008-highs last week.

Meanwhile, tech giants were mostly higher.
