2025-12-23 13:00 By Joana Taborda 1 min. read

US stock futures were little changed around the flatline on Tuesday, following a strong session the previous day, as traders braced for a slate of key economic data due today.

The delayed estimate of GDP growth and durable goods orders, along with consumer confidence data, are expected to provide a clearer picture of US economic performance.

Markets are currently pricing in at least two Federal Reserve rate cuts in 2026.

Megacap stocks were mixed in premarket trading, with Microsoft up 0.2% and Tesla gaining 0.3%, while Nvidia fell 0.5% and Broadcom slipped 0.4%.

Apple, Amazon, Meta, and Alphabet traded close to the flatline.

Meanwhile, shares of Eli Lilly declined nearly 1% ahead of the opening bell after the US Food and Drug Administration approved Novo Nordisk’s weight-loss pill.
