US Personal Spending Rebounds

Personal spending in the US increased 0.3% month-over-month in June 2025, rebounding from a flat reading in May and slightly below forecasts of 0.4%.
The $69.9 billion increase in current-dollar PCE reflected increases of $40.1 billion in spending on services and $29.9 billion in spending on goods.
Spending on goods went up 0.5%, following a 0.7% drop in May and spending on services rose 0.3%, the same as in the previous month.
