US Natural Gas Storage Rises Less than Expected: EIA

US utilities injected 7 billion cubic feet of natural gas into storage on the week ending August 1, 2025, bringing total inventories to 3.130 trillion cubic feet.
The result was below expectations of a 15 bcf build.
Current storage levels were around 4.2% lower than those one year ago, but remained 5.9% above the current five-year average.
