The average rate on a 30-year fixed mortgage rose to 6.24% as of November 13th, 2025, rebounding further from the lowest since early October 2024 of 6.17% seen two weeks ago, according to a survey of lenders by mortgage giant Freddie Mac.
“Rates for the 30-year and the 15-year fixed-rate mortgage essentially remained flat this week, but purchase activity increased, which is encouraging,” said Sam Khater, Freddie Mac’s chief economist.
