According to the flash estimate issued by the INE, the annual inflation of the CPI in March 2013 was expected to be 2.4 percent. This indicator provides a preview of the CPI that, if confirmed, would imply a decrease of four tenths of its annual rate, since in February this variation was 2.8 percent.
This result is mainly a consequence of the decrease in the prices of fuels and lubricants.
According to the flash estimate of CPI, consumer prices registered a 0.4% increase as compared with the month of February.
