This marks the fourth consecutive month with sales above 100,000, remaining close to pre-pandemic levels. Growth was largely driven by a 20.2% increase in electric vehicle sales (BEVs and PHEVs), which accounted for 23.2% of total passenger car registrations, with 29,791 units sold. Sales increased across all buyer segments, led by individuals (11.5%), followed by rental companies (9.8%), while businesses rose 2.1%.
