Avgol Industries 1953 Ltd (Avgol) is an Israel-based company active in the textiles sector. The Company is engaged in manufacturing, marketing and sales of nonwoven fabricks, which are used of the manufacture of hygiene products, such as disposable diapers for infants and adults, and feminine hygiene products, and for the manufacturers of products used in agriculture, furniture, upholstery, construction, apparel, and disposable towels, among others. The Company’s production facilities include plants in the United States, Israel, China and the Russian Federation. As of December 31, 2011, the Company operated one wholly owned direct subsidiary, Avgol Ltd, and six indirect subsidiaries located in the United States, the Russian Federation, China, Cyprus and India.
