Swiss Exports Rises in November

Swiss exports increased in November, driven by strong Asian and emerging market demand for watches and industrial goods, with the strong Swiss franc having only a muted impact.

Exports reached 17.55 billion Swiss francs ($18.2 billion), up 7.4% in real terms on the year, Switzerland's customs office said Tuesday. Imports were at CHF15.62 billion, up 11.3% on the year.

The increase in exports pushed the country's November trade surplus to CHF1.93 billion.
