Year-on-year, prices increased more for food and non-alcoholic beverages (2.43 percent compared to 1.32 percent in October); transport (3.57 percent compared to 2.6 percent); housing and utilities (1.26 percent compared to 1.18 percent). In contrast, inflation slowed for miscellaneous goods and services (1.19 percent compared to 1.43 percent); restaurants and hotels (3.77percent compared to 6.01 percent). Prices continued to decline for clothing and footwear (-3.63 percent compared to -3.7 percent) and accessories, household equipment and current house maintenance (-0.4 percent compared to -0.44 percent).
Annual core inflation rate, which excludes energy and unprocessed food products components, slowed to 1.1 percent from 1.3 percent.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices declined 0.3 percent, following a 0.3 percent rise in October.
The harmonized index rose 1.8 percent year-on-year, below 1.9 percent in October. On a monthly basis, prices fell 1.1 percent.
