Swiss Inflation Drops In October


Swiss consumer prices declined to -0.1 percent in October, following a 0.5 percent rise in September, data from the Federal Statistical Office showed on November 7.

Month-on-month, the index was also down by 0.1 percent. The monthly decline follows 0.3 percent rise a month ago.

Clothing and footwear logged the biggest annual fall of 4.3 percent, followed by food and non-alcoholic beverages.
