Year-on-year, prices of communications recorded the highest drop (-2.6 percent), followed by transport (-1.4 percent) and health (-1.2 percent). In contrast, cost of food and non-alcoholic beverages rose the most (+1.3 percent).
On a monthly basis, the Swiss Consumer Price Index registered an increase of 0.1 percent in September 2014 and reached 99.1 points (December 2010=100).
