Year-on-year, food and beverages cost surged by 9.16 percent in July from 7.9 percent in June. Among food prices the biggest increases were reported for fruits (+22.5%), vegetables (16.9%) and milk and products (11.35%). Cost of clothing, bedding and footwear rose by 8.73 percent from 8.65 percent in June and prices of fuels and light eased to 4.47 percent from 4.58 percent.
The consumer price index increased by 8.45 percent in the rural areas and by 7.42 percent in the urban areas.
Annual core inflation rate was 7.4 percent in July of 2014, the same rate recorded in June.
