Growth in exports of goods and services continued, albeit at a slightly slower pace (+1.6%). This growth was sustained in large part by goods exports (+2.6%), while exports of services fell by 1.0%. Following the record results of Q4 2006 imports of goods and services de-creased by 2.6%. This was accounted for by goods imports (-3.1%), although this drop is largely attributable to a decrease in imports of valuables. Without this special effect the result is a slight increase in goods imports of 0.2%. Imports of services also increased slightly by 0.2%.
