Swiss Unemployment Falls to 3.1% in April


Switzerland’s unemployment rate continued to move downwards, falling to 3.1 percent in April from 3.4 percent in March, a decline of more than 22 percent compared to April 2010.

The seasonally adjusted jobless rate also came in at 3.1 percent compared to 3.3 percent in the previous month.

The number of unemployed persons totaled 123,448 at the end of April, down 11,457 from the previous month.
