The decline in the national index in February of 2013 of 0.3 percent was mainly due to the fall in communications (-2.4 percent) and household equipment and routine household maintenance (-2.2 percent). Major downward pressures came also from: clothing (-13.4 percent), electronical devices (-10.3 percent) and recreation & culture (-0.2 percent).
The biggest upward pressures came from: alcoholic beverages and tobacco (+0.9 percent), restaurants and hotels (+0.6 percent), food and non-alcoholic beverages (+0.5 percent) and transport (+0.4 percent).
