Arendals Fossekompani ASA is a Norway-based company active within the energy industry. The Company is engaged primarily in the ownership and operation of three hydroelectric power plants located in the region of Arendal, south Norway. The Company has such subsidiaries, as EFD, which manufactures induction heating equipment; Kelin Kraft, a billing and settlement services company; Markedskraft, which provides services to clients active in the electricity wholesale market; Powel, which supplies software to the energy and public sectors; Scanmatic, which develops products and systems for industrial monitoring and remote support, and Sonans, which runs education programs, among others. In July, 2013, the Company increased its ownership in Tekna Plasma Systems into 100%, through an acquisition of additional 51%-stakes.
