Egypt Inflation Rate Steady in June


Egyptian annual inflation rate decelerated marginally to 8.20 percent in June of 2014, from 8.24 percent in May of 2014. It is the lowest rate in twelve months.

On a monthly basis, inflation increased by 0.84 percent in June of 2014 compared to a decline of 0.73 percent registered in May.

Core CPI increased by 0.68 percent month-over-month in June of 2014, compared to a decline by 0.23 percent in May. The annual core inflation rate decreased to 8.76 percent in June from 8.86 percent in May.
