Antero Resources Corporation is an independent oil and natural gas company that is engaged in the exploration, development, and acquisition of natural gas, natural gas liquids (NGLs), and oil properties located in the Appalachian Basin. The Company’s segments include the exploration, development, and production of natural gas and oil; marketing and utilization of excess firm transportation capacity, and midstream services through the Company’s equity method investment in Antero Midstream Corporation. The Company holds over 542,000 net acres in the southwestern core of the Marcellus and Utica Shales. In addition, the Company owns a 29% interest in Antero Midstream, which owns and operates gathering pipelines, compression, processing, fractionation, and water handling and treatment assets.
