United Malt Group Limited is an Australia-based commercial maltster. The Company operates through two segments: Processing, and Warehouse & Distribution. The Processing segment is engaged in the production and sale of bulk malt to brewers, craft brewers, distillers and food companies. The Warehouse & Distribution segment is engaged in the distribution and sale of bagged malt, hops, yeast, adjuncts and related products to craft brewers, distillers and food companies. The Company has approximately 12 processing plants in Canada, United States of America, Australia and the United Kingdom, with a production capacity of approximately 1.25 million tons per annum (Mtpa). The Company supplies malt to the craft brewing sector with a distribution network consisting of approximately 25 warehouses, both the Company-operated and through third party logistics providers, and international craft distribution partnerships throughout North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
