Ghana GDP Growth Slows in Q4

The Ghanaian economy expanded 1.2 percent on quarter in the last three months of 2014, slowing from a revised 2.6 percent increase in the previous period.

Growth for the third quarter of 2014 was revised higher from an initial estimate of 0.7 percent.

Year-on-year, the economy expanded 4.6 percent, down from 10.4 percent in the previous quarter.

Considering full 2014, provisional estimates showed the GDP grew 4 percent, lower than an early estimate of 4.2 percent.
