UK's National Minimum Wage increased to £7.50 per hour in April 2017 from £7.20 in 2016. From this month, all workers aged 25 and over are legally entitled to at least £7.20 per hour. Also, the minimum wage for workers aged 21 to 24 is £7.05 per hour; from 18 to 20 is £5.60 per hour; and for those under 18 it is £4.05 per hour. Minimum Wages in the United Kingdom averaged 6.14 GBP/Hour from 2005 until 2017, reaching an all time high of 7.50 GBP/Hour in 2017 and a record low of 5.05 GBP/Hour in 2005.
