The Consumer Prices Index including owner occupiers' housing costs (CPIH) is the most comprehensive measure of UK's inflation. It builds on the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) by adding owner occupiers' housing costs, such as owning, maintaining, and living in one's own home, as well as Council Tax, both of which are major household expenses not covered by the CPI.
